I have seen two, one black like that that and one white, and I absolutely not sure which I want more.

I'm sorry to go a bit off-topic here, but I don't think that I have author rights on Oppo, and I would really like some input.
I'm from Europe, going to Detroit for a customer meeting and the SAE World Congress in April. I get to choose a rental car to pick up at the airport, but as we all know there are generally pretty huge differences when it comes to preferences between American drivers and European. Now, from my perspective, every rental car I can find seems absolutely horrible. I'd rather spend my week in a Caterham than in a Chevy Tahoe...
Now, when googling various rental companies, I came across the picture below. If I'm not mistaken, that's a Civic Si. WHAT DO I NEED TO PICK TO GET A CIVIC SI? GODDAMMIT, ALAMO, WHY DO YOU TAUNT ME LIKE THIS? I NEED THAT VTEC, BRO.
Seriously, though, what do I pick if I want to get a decently enjoyable rental car in the US? I'm not familiar with the American car market, so suggestions are very welcome.

The Mustang/Camaro rentals are typically automatic but very 'Murican.

haha, I wouldn't be the person to ask since I'm in New Zealand (hence the reason why I'm still awake!). I'll reshare it and see if anyone will pick up on it.
All I know is that New Zealand pretty much only has spanking new econobox or 20 year old JDM crap as rentals.

hmmm, resharing seems to have been disabled. I'll see what I can do.

I'm not usually a fan of black (or white), but the fact that it was under the streetlights and the chrome trim sparkled in contrast with the glossy black made me giggle. Oh and those rear lights look good.

This should help you decide! I personally prefer the white. Though I'm still waiting to see a lunar blue one.

I usually don't add authors unless they ask in a Club Openings thread, but you're in. You can post onto Oppositelock and ask for renting advice.
Usually you don't see anything sporty as a rental, but I know Hertz and National have the option to rent Mustangs, Camaros and Challengers, but it won't be cheap. I just looked up rates for a Challenger from National and it was over $170 a day. From Alamo Rental I know you can find a fullsize (Ford Fusion) car for around $26 a day.

Depends on your idea of an enjoyable car. Hertz carries sport cars like the corvette, Camaro, mustang. Must buyers just want something cheap to rent and cheap to fill up.
